First day of school

for Sugar Bear

She was pretty excited to go to her first day of school.  She woke up on time got dressed and was pretty excited the whole morning.  And believe it or not I was doing okay too.

This is her first day outfit and nap mat.  She has actually had the nap mat since Big Sis was in Kindergarten.  My mom bought two when she bought Pooh Bears.   

Here is her back pack which is just like sisters but blue.  It is as big as she is.  

Just like Pooh Bear picked out her design so did Sugar Bear.  It is a chalk board.

Here they are in the foyer getting ready to walk down the hall.  

Pooh Bear reminded me that we did not get a picture in front of the K123 wall so we stopped and grabbed a quick picture.  It also gave us a great opportunity to talk about a meeting place for the girls after school.  

Here she is with a friend from her old school.  

I remember sitting in front of Pooh Bear on her first day giving her the "run down" and she paid me no attention.  Well Sugar Bear was not that way at all.  She was looking a me very intently and she looked worried and scared to death.  It broke my heart to leave but I could not stay.  

I worried about her all day but when I saw her walking out with her big sis and Natalie I was so happy.  She looked like such a big girl. 

Here is Sugar Bear with her cookie treat.  I could not leave her out.  She said she had a good day but it was LONG.  I no idea that after this first day we would begin to cry every day.  She has been at school for one full week and it has been very trying.  She starts crying every night about 30 minutes before bed saying she does not want to go to school.  Then as soon as she wakes up she starts crying and cries off and on all day.  She has been sent to the counselors office because she was crying and fussing so loudly.     I am not sure what we are going to do but I hope things get better soon.
