Let me just tell you about this little "rat". She has decided to start escaping from her cage. The first time she got out we found her in Pooh Bear's closet on top of her shoes. Well.....the next time was not so easy. We walked around for a few minutes and we still could not find her. Then all of a sudden Daddy Bear yells and says she has been in Pooh Bear's bathroom. I asked how do you know? He pulled the shower curtain back and shows me a bed of pink fuzz. After a little inspecting we realized the fuzz actually came from the bath rug. I bet you are wondering where we found her. She was under the bed. Needless to say she no longer lives in the cage with an open top. We are currently trying to decide what is the best option for her.
Sure is a good thing she is cute.
........................................This is the story of our family and all the things that we think are "just right".

What a surprise....
My sweet brother brought this home for the girls...
When he was showing the girls the bear he was talking to me about the trip. While we were talking he says "I didn't know you got a Harry Potter wand this summer". I looked at him confused. He said "Mom told me you got one". I told him I did not have one and that I only got to ride the ride and get the Butter Beer. Well after I told him that he got all upset. I asked him what was the matter. He said, "I had you a wand". What? He said I bought it and then I texted mom to see if you had one and she told me yes. Then he said, "so I returned the wand to the store". But you know what at the end of the day what REALLY mattered to me was that my sweet little brother thought of me. It meant a lot to me that he remember how big of a Harry Potter fan I am and actually bought me something. I really do love my little brother.

Just too cute...
Sugar Bear came home wearing an Easter bonnet. It was actually a paper bowl turned upside down with tissue paper glued on top and a ribbon tie. I thought it was to cute to not take a picture and share.

Farm Field Trip
Sugar Bear went on her very last 4K field trip. Not only was it the last field trip for Sugar Bear it is the farms last season to open to the schools. So when I went I thought she would be coming here in Kindergarten too, but I guess not. I am glad she was able to go and I am glad I got to go with her.
How about that cute shirt that I whipped up at 9:30 the night before?
Here is her cute little class of girls and her teacher. I guess this would have been a better picture if I would not have made them look into the sun. But when you have 6 excited girls that barely sit still you get what you can.
Her first stop on the field trip was to this old house. The kids sat and listened about how things were done in the old days. They learned about out houses, a water pump and how they stayed warm and cool. Sugar Bear said they had no electricablity, she could not say electricity.
She got to wash on the wash board and then ring the wash cloth out in the roller.
Then she got to try the pump. I can't even get the girls to pick up there toys I could only imagine making them pump their own water.
Next it was off to the General Store.
They sat and listened to the way they used to shop.
Then what would a school field trip be without a little school time.
The kids got to practice writing on the chalkboard. I know Sugar bear is thankful for paper.
She did not like using the chalk and little board at all. She thinks chalk is only used on the driveway.
After a little "school time" is was time for a little recess. They got to play on the equipment while the other class rode on the hay ride.
Finally the hay ride.
I was not planing on riding but I asked Sugar Bear if she wanted me to go and of course she said yes.
But I am glad I did because I got some really cute pictures.
The Barn...this was the really fun part.
She first sat and listened to the Farmer talk about the animals. He was teaching them all about the horses.
This little guy was his subject.
Even though this little guy was as sweet as he could be Sugar Bear was still a little scared to feed him.
After feeding the horses she put on some gloves and was off to feed a few more animals.
This was a Chinese Chicken. She went pet him and when she did he moved his head. She jumped back and looked at me and said "HE TRIED TO BITE ME".
Sugar Bear was pretty sad that she could not feed this little guy. He really was cute and he looked like he REALLY wanted to be fed. He was pawing at his food bowl like a dog. But unfortunately he has to eat special baby food and he can't eat to much or he will get sick. So the kids were not allowed to feed him.
And before we left we ate a quick lunch. Yummy pb&j without the crust and chips.
And then a picture just to prove I was there.

Tuesday Softball
Pooh Bear had another game last night and we had a few visitors.
Our first visitor was Sam the class mascot. He spent the first part of the game hanging out in the dugout. Our other visitor was Audrey one of our best friend. Her and Sugar Bear went and spent some time on the playground while Pooh Bear was warming up.
After warming up Pooh Bear gave Sam a hug and sent him to sit in the stands.
He was well taken take of.
This is B one of the sweet and adorable girls on Pooh Bear's team. Pooh Bear really likes her and has enjoyed getting to know her.
These adorable friends came to watch Pooh Bear too. We love these guys and I was so glad to see them and there momma!

Picture Day
The girls had pictures at the ball park the past two Saturday.
And Pooh Bear was first.
The Green Machine...
After Pooh Bear's pictures I was fussing discussing with my mom how much different (warmer) her pictures were. I did not like the bright sunshine in mine so we had a talk and she made some suggestions. So when I went to take Sugar Bear's I followed her suggestions.
I do like the warmth and color much better but I still needed to do a little tweaking.
I do like the warmth and color much better but I still needed to do a little tweaking.
But I was taking the pictures so fast to try and shoot behind the photographer I did not have time.

Softball Saturday..
Sugar Bear had another great game. She is really loving Softball.
Now she does not love to practice but she does love the game.
Here she is ready and waiting on a ball to be hit to her.
After fielding it was time for batting. She hit off the coach both times she got up to bat.
As you can see she hit the ball.
She dropped the bat and took of running.
But notice the ball...it rolled foul. Bummer. But she came back and hit it again but this time it was off the tee.
When she made it to first she was congratulated by her Daddy. But she was upset because the ball hit her finger and busted her knuckle.
She was so upset over all the blood.
She was showing Paw Paw and he was giving her a pep talk and telling her how good she did.
But she was really was sad.
But a bandaid, hot dogs, chips, cookies and sprite made it all better.
