First 4K Field Trip

We went to see the Frog Prince and Sugar Bear loved it. 

Snow Bear

Sugar Bear has a class bear this year and her name is Snow Bear! 

She was the first one to bring her home and my Sugar Bear was so excited! 

The two "bears" fell fast asleep on the way home from a fun birthday party! 

 

Of Course the two of them got all dolled up for the game! 

Halloween Dress

Here is my latest creation.  I have told you guys before that I use sewing as therapy.

Well I guess this time is no different.  This week has been a long hard week!

I have finally got a little free time so I decided to make the girls some new Alabama shirts.

I  don't know if you can tell but I made football barrettes too! 

I thought they both turned out really cute! 

Jackpot...

I am the kind of person that nevers gets a deal, never! 

But today I hit the jackpot.  

A friend told me about a warehouse sale and I thought I would go look.

Pooh Bear's birthday is coming up and I needed invites for her party.

Well I walked in they handed me a bag and said fill it up.

So guess how much ALL this paper was......

$25.00!  Yup $25.00 I was so excited I could not even stand it. 

I even got some cute little die cuts to add to the cards.  I am still smiling! 

Pep Rally...

We went a couple of weeks ago to my brother's pep rally to see him play in the band.

While we were there Pooh Bear ran into some friends who were there to cheer on their brothers.

Well except for A she was there to cheer on her daddy and his team.

The girls were glued to all of the action and loved being there.  I have to say I enjoyed it too!  

It brings back lots and lots of fun memories. 

Fun Run....

The school had it's Second Boosterthon Fun Run and it was a blast.  

Pooh Bear's class raised $190 per lap and the school raised $90,000 and $45,000 of it goes to the school. Awesome!

Since her class raised so much money they got to "dress" their teacher. 

As you can see they were wearing all kinds of silly stuff. 

Both her teachers are BIG Alabama Fans so the kids dressed them in Auburn stuff.

but it wasn't long before it was time for a water break...

then it was time to walk with a friend...

then she had to slow it down a little and walk...

 

she was suppose to give me a high five when she came around but instead she ran over to me and gave me a big hug...

she managed to run 34 laps just one lap shy of the 35 lap goal....

But as you can see by this picture I think she ran all she could.  She was so red!  I was actually worried about her.  I was afraid she was going to pass out! 

Here she is with her class!  Yup she is in a REALLY big class.  39 kids to be exact! 

She is in a new Co- Teaching class.  This is the first year for the school to try it! 

I was so proud of my BIG Girl! 

Birthday Party

We got to go to the pool this weekend for two of our friends 5th birthday.

  The girls had a great time but said that the water was cold.  

This is Pooh Bear with the Birthday Boy's big sister. 

It was a combo party for two of our friends J and M.

What dino pool party is complete without a dino face tatoo?

through her very first day of 4K.  

The teacher said she had an awesome day! 

First Day of 4K

 Today was Sugar Bear's First Day of 4K and I have to say I was a little sad. She will go to school 5 days a week from 9 to 1.  I know she is in great hands and she is going to love school.  But I think the house is going to be lonely and I am going to miss spending time with her.  I guess it is part of growing up for both her and me.  Anyway here are some pictures of her before we left the house this morning.  

Of course because I made her sister a shirt I had to make her one.  

I actually made that design up myself! I thought it turned out cute. 

I got even more adventurous and made her an apple barrette too! 

My mom bought her a really cute Vera Bradley backpack for school but it was not big enough.

So at the last minute we ran out and got this one.  I added the L and a little glitter!

Silly Sock Day

Here is Pooh Bear all "dressed up" for school. 

 She had to wear something for her favorite team and silly socks.  

Meet the teacher..

Sugar Bear got to meet her teacher this week and I think she is going to have a great year.  She has a fantastic teacher who has lots of energy and has many years of teaching under her belt.  I can't wait to see how much Sugar Bear grows under her guidance.  With only 6 little girls in her class I think she will get lots of attention.
