Disney on Ice

The girls were so excited.  They got their blue icees,

 glow up blinky thing,

 and a stuffed animal.

Once they had all their "treats" they were ready for the show.
First it was all the Disney Friends and Lion King.

The girls are not huge fans of Lion King and so they were really excited to see Ariel better known as The Little Mermaid.

After Ariel it was time for Lilo and Stitch.

Last but not least it was Peter Pan.

 TInkerbell

My favorites were Peter Pan and Little Mermaid.  I think that was the girls favorite too.

We were all tired when we left but the girls were happy.  We went on the opening night and our seats were really pretty close so we could see good.  All in all it was a fun family adventure.

Art Project

So the other day I had the "pleasure" of taking both girls shopping with me.  While we were out we visited this cute little store and found canvases for kids.  Basically is was a canvas with a black outline of a reindeer and paint.  The girls really wanted it but I really did NOT want to pay $30 a piece for them.  So I convinced the girls that we could make one at home and that I would help them.  This meant we needed to make an unexpected stop by Michaels.  I bought 7 canvas for $11 on sale.  We came home and looked up Christmas clip art on the computer.  Pooh Bear picked a Reindeer and Sugar Bear picked a Gingerbread girl.  I drew the art off with a pencil and gave them the paint and brushes.  The girls really enjoyed painting them.  Now the are driving me crazy asking to do another one.

Halloween 2011

We had a great Halloween this year.  The girls had a ton of fun and got a TON of candy.

Pooh Bear was Little Red Riding Hood.

of course Sugar Bear was back in her fairy costume.

Cute sisters

Nat  and Sugar Bear

Our friends Natalie, Jack, Luke, Audrey and Grant came over and ate dinner with us and then hit the streets with us.

Audrey and Pooh Bear

And the boys...Luke, Jack and Grant

Natalie was a softball fairy, Pooh Bear Little Red Riding Hood, Audrey was Lucy from Charlie Brown, Sugar Bear was the fairy, Luke was a red Power Ranger, Grant was Linus and Jack was a Transformer.

Here is Pooh Bear with the little boy down the street.  She has had her picture made with him EVERY year for the last six years. It is a much on my list of to-do's every Halloween.

After our traditional picture it was a family group shot.

The kids were having a blast and running from house to house.  They did not slow down until later that night when we were on the back street in the neighborhood.

Paw Paw and Maw Maw Logan came over and ate dinner with us and passed out my candy for me.  Maw Maw loves seeing all the little kids. She no longer gets littles ones at her house. Maw Maw and Paw Paw are my Mom's parents and the girls Great Grandparents.  They are a big help  to me each Halloween and I love having them over.  With a couple of hundred trick or treaters stopping at my front door I need some one to ration out the goods.
