The Luxor Pro Wet Brush

This may save my relationship with Sugar Bear.
I bought this the other day when I got my hair cut and it really is great.  You can find it here.
It is suppose to be for tangles in wet and dry hair.  EVERY morning I get up and listen to Sugar Bear cry while I brush her hair.  But, ever since I got this brush there are no more tears.

How cool is this....

Sorry I know the picture is blurry but I think you can still see it.
It is a tent a friend of mine found on Etsy.
This one goes over a pvc pipe frame you put together.
But she also sells tents that fit over a card table.
I think it is so cute and you should check it out.
But be warned they are expensive.
Just click HERE.

Story TIme

Story Time this week was a lot of FUN!
  It was all about Monkeys.
Sugar Bear had a really great time.

Her craft was a paper bag monkey mask.
Notice we gave the monkey a bow and earrings.
A girl has to accessorize (even if she is a monkey).

My new Do ?!

It is not that different.  My layers are a little shorter and my bangs are a little thicker and the color is different.  I am still trying to decide if I like it but I think I do.

Pretty Pictures from the Park

Valentine's Night

On V-Day Hubby and I went on a date and this sweet girl watched our girls.  I met her at church last year and I love her and so do the girls.  I trust her completely and I know she cares about the girls.   These days having a babysitter you trust is like having Gold and I am so thankful to have her.  While we were out we saw the movie Edge of Darkness we liked it but....we decided that we don't like watching movies about things happening to the kids.  Once you become a parent those movie are HARD to watch!

Happy Valentine's Day 2010

We started today with going to church. We had a party in Pooh Bears class today but I didn't take pictures. (I know, I know I can't believe it either) And if your wondering yes I made these outfits too.

Sugar Bear had a party in her class too.
She got to take home this cute little sucker flower.

After church we went to eat lunch.
The girls love to color while we wait for our food.

While we were eating we ran into one of Sugar Bear's friends.

Finally, they got to open their presents.
They were so patient this morning.
They both saw them as soon as they got up
but I wouldn't let them open them.
I made them wait until we got home from Church.

Cool Princess flip-flops.

And Monkey P.J.'s or as we call them P.P.'s

and matching slippers and panties

And Minnie P.P.'s

Oooh and pretty earrings.
It was exactly two years and one day ago that she got her ears pierced

And last but not least Sugar bear got a new blanket like her sisters.
But..... I am not real sure she is ready to give up the other one just yet.

More Snow 2010

Pictures from MOM.
Check out her blog for pictures of the girls in my brothers igloo.

Snow 2010

She made a really good snow angel.

Valentine's Day Brunch

I was in charge of the decorations for the table at the Valentine's Brunch. I was supposed to keep it simple. But as many of you know I don't really do simple. But I did not spend much at all. I bought the plastic skirts and red hearts at the dollar store and 10 yards of tulle for 77 cents at Hobby Lobby. The rose petals and flowers were bought by someone else.

I know you are thinking to yourself why did she take a picture of her with the milk carton. Well, it is because she never drinks white milk. She looked at me and said mom look I am going to try milk! But of course she did not even open the box before she changed her mind and got chocolate milk. Oh well at least she thought about it.

It was funny that all the girls sit at one table and all the boys sit at the other. She came home one day and said mommy guess what I sat at the boys table today. You would have thought she jumped over a mountain. That was a REALLY big deal for her.

A picture with her and one of her favorite Kindergarten aids.

Friends!

Fluffy Dog....

Of all the pictures I took today I think this one may be the funniest one! This silly dog LOVES the snow. He was running around like a wild dog.

Changes....

You may notice some changes in my blog over the next couple of days/ weeks. A friend of my mine sent me to this website. When I read what happened to her and her blog all I thought was I do not want this to happen to me. So..... I think I am going to make some changes if nothing else to make me feel better. I love my blog and I don't want to stop, but I also want to try my very best to keep my family safe.

Valentine's Outfit

I loved the way this outfit turned out. I bought the skirt so I could copy it and make them myself and I made the shirt. I think it is one of my favorite outfits.

Valentine's Outfit

I made her pants a LONG time ago and just never made a shirt to go with them. So I decided last night to make this shirt to go with her pants. I thought it turned out cute and was not so Valentine's that she can't wear it again.

Valentine's Craft

Sugar Bear made this at school and I thought it was to cute not to share.

We are the Mighty Red Sox

Everywhere we go,
people want to know,
who we are, who we are,
so we tell them, so we tell them,
we are the Red Sox's, we are the Red Sox's
the mighty mighty RED SOX's.

Or something like that! Anyway Pooh Bear is officially starting her second year of softball. Today was her clinic. She learned all kinds of stuff from the high school girls. I think with a little work she might actually be a pretty good player this year. We are hoping maybe Coach Brett can whip her into shape!

Here she is waiting for the ball.
I think I may have to talk to her about breathing and not holding her breath.

As you will notice she has got her body in front of the ball. Good Girl!

Then she turned and threw the ball. Jennifer the head coach at the High School, said I need to work on getting her glove up and pulling it into her armpit when she throws.
That is new to us so we will have to work on that this year.

They ended the day with a pep talk from Coach Brett.

And a Big 1-2-3 Go Red Socks!
