Beach- July 18th

The beach was still a little yucky but we still got out and had a good time.

D steped in once again and saved the day.

Pooh Bear still hated it and Sugar Bear was still okay with it.
I was still holding out and not going in.  I love diving and the ocean but when it comes to seaweed there is just something about it that creeps me out.   So lucky for me D and Daddy were willing to take one for the team and go out in the ocean with the girls.  But trust me it was not easy for Daddy either.

Daddy and I managed to get the girls out of the water and build some sand castles.

While we were building the castles D found this cute little guy.

Building was a true team effort.

I am not even sure what to say about this picture.  But it was to funny not to post.

I drew Sugar Bear a cake in the sand and put five candles on it.  And she "blew" them out.
It is hard to believe that my baby is 5.

Everybody gave up on the beach and we went back to the pool at the house.
The pool was small but the girls, D and Daddy found a way to have fun.

Since Daddy and Paw Paw had to leave the beach early we decided to celebrate Sugar Bear's birthday early.  We bought her a cake and gave her her presents on Monday night.  But her real birthday was actually on Thursday.

Yea! Presents!

Here is Sugar Bear giving her big sister a big hug for her present. She gave her a Barbie baby nursery.

Here is the Ugly doll from my mom, dad and D.
She thought he was silly and cute and slept with him every night.

She also got Coconut the Beanie Boo.
My girls have started collecting them and I have a feeling we will have a lot more.

Of course she started playing with the Barbie stuff first!  She still loves anything baby.

We headed out for dinner to celebrate her birthday day.  We intended on going to Hard Rock or some place really loud and fun but when we saw it was a 2 hour wait we went with plan B.   Longhorns!

After dinner we ordered her the birthday sunday.

D, Sugar Bear and Mimi (my mom)
