Okay so on to our second day at Castaway Cay, Disney's Island. Pooh Bear slept all night and was not throwing up any more but she said her stomach still really hurt. But this was the ONLY day on the Disney Island so I convinced her to at least try to get out and play on the beach.
We first had a glass bottom boat tour. While we waited I snapped a few pictures of the girls. This picture is pretty cute but just two seconds later Pooh Bears face changed.
This was pretty much the face/smile I got the rest of the trip. You could just tell that she did not feel good. I don't think she was miserable but I do think she was hurting.
Silly bunch of guys.
Sugar Bear was giggles and grins one second and ....
pouting and fussing the next. But that is Sugar Bear right now. She complains and fusses about everything. If I gave her ice cream for breakfast she would complain because it was not the flavor she liked best. So I started taking pictures of her pouting and then she really got mad and started fussing at me.
Everyone decided that sitting on the rail hurt their bottom so we moved to the tables..
and of course I took more pictures. I had to make up for all the pictures I missed on the first day.
My "little" brother doesn't look so little any more.
While we were on the boat the girls got to feed the fish.
It was not intentional but D's surf shirt matched the girls bathing suits. It made for another cute picture.
After the boat we headed straight for the slide. I had planned on going with them but as soon as I stepped in the water I backed out. The water was like ice. The high for the day was around 75. I got to my hips and said I'm out. Daddy fussed at me and told me to suck it up for the girls. So I tried one more time but I just could not do it. It was COLD. I told him the girls had on life jackets and if they were drowning I would jump in and save them but other wise I was sitting on the beach. I am a wimp I know.
So he was the brave one and went in the water and down the slide with them.
I am not sure if Sugar Bear's face was because of the salt water or because it was so cold.
Notice that is Pooh Bear coming off the slide.
Poor Pooh Bear was so weak she asked Daddy for a piggy back ride to the beach.
D was not real happy about the water either. That is a pretty grumpy face if you ask me.
Sugar Bear and D decided to go and play in the sand because the water was more than they could handle. Daddy and Kylie went one more time.
Sugar Bear was pretty excited because she talked her Daddy into Princess water toys. Here she is pulling them all out and showing them to me.
Sugar Bear and D decided to try and build a sand castle. So they went and fetched a pail of water.
Off to work they went. Well off to work D went. Sugar Bear was the Supervisor.
But I must say she is a very cute Supervisor.
This was Pooh Bear when she came back from her second slide. If you look close you will notice that her lips are purple/blue.
She is making me cold all over again.
She decided to sit and watch D and sister build their castle while she was wrapped in a towel to stay warm .
I think D was tired of Sugar Bear standing over him with her hands on her hips watching so...
He put her to work collecting water.

Because the sun was not out and the wind was blowing it was a little chilly just sitting. Who would have ever thought that it would be hotter at home than in the Bahamas.
Poor Pooh Bear. I think she got tired of watching so she...
Went and played a little ball with her sister.
Okay so I don't normally post pictures of me in my bathing suit. But this is one of three pictures taken of me the WHOLE trip. And believe it or not it is the better of the ones I had to choose from. Because see even though Pooh Bear was having problems I had my on set too. I was feeling very motion sick and starting to have really bad side effects from the patch I was wearing. Also, I have to say that it took a whole lot of guts for me to wear a two piece. This was the fist time I have worn one in years.
We did not stay on the island long before we decided to just go back to the boat and eat lunch and let Pooh Bear ride the Aqua Duck since she had not been on it yet. Little did I know the pool and Aqua Duck filter water from the ocean. So needless to say it was COLD too. We just could not win for losing. But I am happy to say I did "suck it up" and get on the Aqua Duck with the girls.
So we ate lunch at the Cabana's. Daddy Bear loved this place. Non stop food and all stuff he liked. I think he must have eaten at least two or three ice cream cones a day. Every time he passed the machine he stopped and got one.
After lunch and little time at the pool we came back and got ready for the Pirate Party. But as you can see Daddy Bear used his time to get a little shut eye.
More to come on Pirate Night...Stay tuned...I promise I am posting as fast as I can.
