Sugar Bear's Field Trip to the Christmas Tree Farm

I go to go with Sugar Bear and her cute little class of girls to the tree farm last Friday.
We had a lot of fun walking around and enjoying the animals and finding the perfect tree.

I mean really how fun is an all girl class?

Here they are checking out the turkeys

Then they were off to see the goats and the horses.

Once they were tired of the animals they decided to try the hay maze.
It was funny watching the girls get lost and being able to look over the bales and find them.

Sugar Bear watched the goats for awhile

Next we were off to eat lunch on the hay bales in the loft.  What better way to eat lunch at a farm?

While we were waiting on the hay ride we decided to pick a little cotton.
The kids really don't understand that the cotton comes from a plant.

Sitting pretty

After the hay ride they got to listen to a story about life on a farm.

I am not even sure what to say about this picture!

Mmmmmm.....Apple cider

Finally it was time to look for a tree

I think we picked the prefect dainty little tree!

They all watched close as he cut the tree down

Then they quickly picked it up and carried it off

they had a long way to walk but they were determined to carry it!

Once they got there they had to shake the tree and get the dead needles off.
The girls were shaking with the tree.

Bagged and ready to go back to school with us.
