Surprise!

Okay how many of you saw the title of this post and thought I was going to tell you I am pregnant? Sorry, but my surprise is a new tree. A couple of weeks ago the sweet man that mows my lawn lost his wife's cat in our neighborhood. The cat accidently rode to work with him on his trailer and by the time he noticed and stopped the cat was scared to death and ran off. So after about 4 days of looking with no luck they emailed me a picture. I sent it out to all my friends that live around here. Anyway, I got a few tips that people had seen it around. I spent one morning looking for Pumpkin and I found him. They were SO happy. So to thank me they bought me a beautiful tree and he planted it today. It was a WONDERFUL surprise.

Where are the animals?

How about going to the zoo with friends and only taking pictures of the kids and no animals!

I came home last week from the zoo and realized that the only thing I had taken pictures of were the kids. Oh well maybe I will do better next time! We had a great time, all the animals were going crazy. I have never seen them so active. Usually they are all sleeping, but not last week.

MMM....

CHOCOLATE!

Silly Faces

Most of the time the Little Sister learns from the Big Sister. But I think the Big Sister has been taking lessons from the Little Sister! One thing is for sure I have to silly little girls.

She is my funny, silly, sweet little girl and she makes me happy!

Way to old...

Daddy Bear and I are so not ready for this!

Pineapple Princess

Pooh Bear had her dance pictures today. She is doing a tap dance to the Annette Funicello song Pineapple Princess. That's the reason for the blinding, yet adorable yellow costume.

Also, just so you know ALL THE MAKE-UP WAS NOT MY IDEA. Her dance teacher had very strict rules about her hair (notice the bow) and make-up. I thought she would love rolling her hair and putting on the make-up but she did not like any of it. I am not complaining because I am not ready for her to like it either. Although I did think she looked very cute! But no worries about us being on Toddlers and Tiaras any time soon!

Fruit Pizza

MiMi and the girls made a fruit pizza at the lake and it was yummy!

They started with a sugar cookie spread in a pizza pan!

Then they sliced the bananas and squeezed lemon over them to keep them from turning brown.

How about moms curly hair. Ever since it has started growing back after her treatments it has been really curly. She does not like it because she says she doesn't know what to do with it. But I think it is cute, I have always wanted curly hair!

Then they spread cream cheese all over the cookie.

Next they put strawberries, bananas, and cherries all over.

Last but not least, Sugar Bear's favorite part, they put chocolate syrup and whip cream on it.
It was a really good sweet (kind of) healthy treat!

Fun at the Lake

We rode on the boat and did a little fishing.
It was a cold boat ride.

Playing in the sand.

The girls helped Mimi make a fruit pizza. Yummy!

!! Warning !!

Warning this picture may be to much for those without children. It may even be to much for those with children. Look if you dare =)

I know I am the meanest Mom ever! I am sure she will HATE me for this but I thought it was funny. Let me tell you the story. We went to the lake with my family and they have a sand pit. So Pooh Bear and my brother were playing just fine. Until..... Pooh Bear threw sand on my brother's back. As soon as she did it he turned around and threw sand all in her face. He didn't mean to get it in her face but that is where it ended up. She was so upset that her nose was running even more than normal and the sand stuck to EVERYTHING. I am sure when she gets older she will be deleting this picture.

2.2 Seconds

Is how long it takes Sugar Bear to go
from this

to this!

Picnic at the Park

Hang on ! It makes me so nervous to watch her do this, but I have to let her try, right?!

We got out yesterday and went to the park and had a picnic. I think the girls ate all their food in one bite. They were ready to play at the play ground. Over all it was a lot of fun.

More Therapy

I did a little more sewing and finally got Sugar Bear's head boards made. It has only been on my list of "to do " since before Christmas. But you know what they say better late than never.

Senior Year
I wore my hair in pigtails for a SNL skit we did during a Pep Rally

I think this was Junior Year summer. We had a bunch of wooded land around my house and we would go mud riding in our bathing suits and we had a blast. Talk about good times and great memories! Mandy, Lori, Rachel and Me.

Finally My New Kitchen Island

Our kitchen island is where we eat every night and ever since Sugar Bear has been out of her high chair either Daddy Bear or myself has been standing. So now we can FINALLY all sit together. Well that is as soon as my chairs I ordered are delivered. Hopefully they will be here soon.

Silly Dog

I went outside today to take pictures of Bristol and every time I tried to take her picture she got right up in the camera. This is one of the pictures I got. She is such a sweet, big and clumsy dog.

Father Daughter Dance

These pictures are a little late but Dougie and Kylie went to a Father/ Daughter Dance at the Church.  Kylie looked so pretty! My mom fussed at me for putting make-up on her.  They played a bunch of games and danced and I think they both had a great time.

Sewing Therapy

Daddy Bear went to get the cabinets for our kitchen island today and while he was there he called and said that they dropped them. Needless to say they were busted to pieces. I was so sad because I have waited on them for so long. So I decided I needed a little therapy. I went to my craft room and made two pillows one for each of the chairs in our living room. What do you think? I am happy with them and I feel much better!

Cool Helmet

Daddy painted Pooh Bear a really great helmet, here are the pictures.

Silly Sugar Bear

The girls went to a friends house on Valentine's Day night so that Daddy and I could have some time together! Anyway, I got them these cute p.j.'s to wear and took several picture before they left. I kept telling Sugar Bear to look at me and smile and this is what I got. I am not sure where she learned it from but I could not stop laughing.

Cute Outfits

Most of the time I like the stuff I make for the girls but every once in a while I love what I make. This is one of the outfits I love. I made this outfit for the both of them but I only have a picture of Little sis. I am going to try and get one of Big sis tomorrow!

Yeah, Softball

Pooh Bear is playing softball for the first time this year. She is a Pigtail and her team is the Detroit Tigers. She had player evaluations last Saturday and her first players clinic today. I was shocked at the evaluations when they had her doing Coach pitch and catching pop flies. But I thought she did great she hit two of the five balls, stopped all the balls rolled to her, threw pretty good to first base and almost caught one of the pop flies. I tell you what I was one proud mom. She is really enjoying learning how to play and I have to say I am very excited. I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed playing softball. I am looking forward to her softball season.

We took her to the store the other day and she picked out a pink bat, pink batting gloves, pink glove and she wanted the black and pink cleats but they did not have any in her size.

I will also say that after I have been a purple and gold all my life it feels a little weird seeing my daughter in red and blue.
