Our church is always doing fun things to get the kids involved! This past weekend was no different. The 1st and 2nd grade girls got together at the church for food and fellowship. Once they left there they came over to my house to have a slumber party. Yep, that means 11 little girls, 2 college kids and one other mom all sleeping in one house.
Once they got to the house they got dressed in their p.j.'s and played a little more before their next bible study.
This was part of the lesson. I think the college girls were teaching them and trying to wear them out.
After a little exercise they were back to studying! After this lesson they went to bed around 10:45 and I would say they were all asleep by 11:30.
I thought they would sleep late but no such luck. They started waking up around 6:20AM. They came downstairs and ate doughnuts, cinnamon rolls and cereal. After they were fed and happy we got them dressed. What a cute bunch of girls. The two girls in the back were the college students that helped and they were great!
When we left my house we went to church for another lesson.
I think all the girls really did have a great time.
