Thursday- Animal Kingdom

This was the other park we could not ride the Monorail to so we rode the bus, again.

And again I used the wait time as a chance to take a picture.

Our first stop was the Rainforest Cafe for lunch.  We kept getting later and later to the parks.

The girls remember these from last year and HAD to have them again this year.

Next we headed to see It's tough to be a bug.  They thought it was so funny that they looked like bugs.

Next we headed to Expedition Everest.  Daddy Bear and I knew Sugar Bear was not tall enough but she insisted that they measure her.  Or as she kept saying weigh her height.  So Daddy Bear took her over there and she came back looking like this.

So she sat in her stroller and pouted because she could not ride.

Well that is until she saw this thing!
She about had a heart attack when she saw it.  She got upset and started yelling at me that there was a bug by the stroller.  I told her to calm down and told her to show me.  I thought I was going to be some small thing like an ant.  I was not expecting this thing at all.  I have to say I moved the stroller FAR away.

What better way to cool off than with a chocolate Mickey ice cream.

We ended up not doing much or staying long at Animal Kingdom.  Instead we decided to leave and go back to Magic Kingdom.  There were a few rides we missed earlier in the week.

Snow White was one of those rides.

For some reason the ride stopped and the house lights came up in the middle of the ride.
So yep... you guessed it...I took a picture!

Next we headed over to the Carousel!

Then we were off to It's a Small World, again!

Monkey?!

I have rode this ride at least a dozen times and I have never noticed that every 15 minutes the clock chimes and it shows the time.  I feel really silly for not noticing sooner.

Pooh Bear told me to take this picture.  She thought these guys were cute.

I told the girls that these dolls could be there sisters.

Do you think they are excited?
I know you can't tell but they are standing in front of the Big Thunder Mountain entrance.

Yep, they measured her every time.  But as you can tell she was big enough by just a smidge.

Next we were off to Splash Mountain and then to Dumbo!

We rode the pink one and then took our picture in the yellow one.   While we were riding Dumbo Daddy Bear and Pooh Bear went to ride Space Mountain.  But when they came back they said the ride was closed and not running.  So she never got to ride.

Since we had a little time we did some last minute shopping.  The nice lady in the store sprinkled pixie dust on their heads.  She said, "With faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust may all your dreams come true."  The girls loved that!

But when we got back home Pooh Bear went to sleep one night and woke up from a nightmare.  She screamed for me and I went to her room.  When I got there she told me she had a bad dream.  I gave her a hug and told her she would be okay.  But she stared crying and said she was afraid that the dust the lady in Disney sprinkled on her would make her dreams come true.  I am still trying to explain that one to her.

I know you can't really tell but this is them with the glitter in their hair.
