Somebody is 8...

This past Tuesday was Pooh Bear's 8th birthday.

She was so excited to get the small 6inch Cricut.  I even told her that we could share our cartridges.

She has been making stuff ever since she got it.

On the day of her birthday I gave her a birthday hat like the ones I give my students.  She even got the honor of holding the flag while they said the pledge.

We left school a little early and met our friends a CPK for lunch.

After lunch they all split a birthday sunday.

Later that night she had a football game in the rain.  Not the best way to end the day. But...
the cupcakes I made and brought for everyone and

going to Mimi and PawPaw's for presents made the night much better.

All in all I think it was a pretty good birthday.   We have her party this weekend and tomorrow I get to try and figure out how to make the cake she wants.  It should be lots of fun.

Vortex

We had another tournament this Saturday and it went pretty good
and best of all we did not have to drive far.

Here is Pooh Bear with some of her team mates and their little brothers.  This little brother is Luke and he is usually hanging out with Sugar Bear.  But I think he likes her Big Sis too.

Pooh Bear, JB, Luke, Jack and Nat.

Sugar Bear brought a few "things" to keep her happy.  She had Jack and Luke help her take care of the babies during the first game.  They were good sports for a little while and they were the baby sitters.

This weekend she played center left and third.  She did AWESOME at both.  She is really coming into her own and Daddy and I are so proud of her.

She had several good hits.

And she is even a little faster at running the bases.

Ah, see I told you Luke is usually with Sugar Bear.  He was sharing his seat with her.  Like I said before he is always taking care of her.

After the third game it was time for the trophy ceremony.

Trophies and shirts.  The girls were so excited.

They were all trying to get their hands on the trophy.

Suger Bear could not care less.  She was to busy turning in circles in the outfield with her ball she got at the tournament.  But thank goodness for the balls, it kept all the kids entertained for the whole day.

 The serious pose...
the silly pose...

 and the tuff pose.

Of  course the day would not be complete with out water and ice being dumped on the coach.

We are ready

The girls love wearing all their Halloween clothes.  This morning they both got all dressed up and I had to stop and take a picture.

Power Up...

Well our school powered up and raised $64,000.  And because the parents ran the event we kept all the money, yea.   Here are some pictures from the last day and popcorn party.

Vortex...

Pooh Bear is playing fall ball this year and this weekend was her first tournament.

Started the day in center left.
We played four games on Saturday and one game on Sunday.  It was a lot of ball but Pooh Bear had a great time and she played great.  Her Daddy and I were so proud of her.

Pooh Bear and her sweet friend Audrey.

I have to say this is a pretty cute and silly team.

Where was sister during the games.  She was playing on the playground and in the dirt.
She was also digging through all the goodies I brought.

Papa came and watched Pooh Bear's last game.  The girls were really excited to get to see him.

Sugar Bear was showing the love for her Big Sister.

On Sunday she got to play third.  She was so excited.  She has never played in the infield but she has always wanted to.  She did a great job for her first time.

Sugar Bear was playing in the dirt, again.
