This is one of the outfits I made for Pooh Bear. The skirt is actually a skort. The yellow ruffle is a pair of yellow shorts. I made the Snow White with my monograming machine. I think it turned out pretty cute I will tweak it a little next time, but over all I was happy with it.

My Hubby
This is my sweet husband...He is also the man who has taken care of the girls so I can lay in the bed and rest. Since my surgery Thursday he has taken great care of me and the girls. He has kept them busy playing and let me rest. I have not had to worry about them once. He has been great! I sure do love this guy, even after almost ten years of marriage. Even more importantly I still like him too! I am sure once I get better I will owe him BIG!

Day of Recital
Here are pictures of the recital. Pooh Bear did a great job I was very proud of her. She was doing great and right at the end she shuffle stepped and came right out of her shoe. But she did great and just kept going.
This is the end of the dance (sorry I got the pictures backwards)
She went all the way to the end. I was afraid she was going to be so upset and crying by the time I got to her backstage . I ran all the way to the dressing room but when I got there she was coloring and the first thing she said was mommy did you see my shoe come off and started laughing. I told her I did see but that she did just what she was suppose to do and I was very proud of her. Needless to say I was not planning on buying a video but after that happened I just had to.
This is her after she lost her shoe. You can tell her smile kind of went away but she kept dancing.
This is the beginning with both shoes
The really funny thing about all of it is her tap shoes were to small for her. At rehearsal the day before she had blisters on her toes. I actually debated on buying her new bigger shoes Friday afternoon because I felt so bad about them being so small. Oh well go figure.
Before the Recital
The Whole Pineapple Princess Crew back stage before the Recital!
Oh, mom please leave me alone, okay maybe one more picture!
I put so much hair spray on her hair I was sure the curl would stay but I was wrong. By the time we got to the Bjcc it was already falling. I am going to have to figure out a better way to roll it next time!

Whew...
Today has already been a busy day and it is not over. We got up early this morning and fixed Pooh Bear's hair and make-up for her dress rehearsal and the off to school for a Mom's day breakfast. Here are some of the pictures from today.
Pooh Bear with her teacher!
She made me a cute cup, 2 flower pictures and made a picture of me. It was very cute. She sang to me and served me breakfast. I enjoyed every minute of it! I can't believe how old she is getting next stop Kindergarten where I am sure to be a total crying mess!

Hospital Stay
Before the surgery she was a real trooper. She was smiling and laughing and telling everyone she broke her arm. They gave her "giggle gas" and she was feeling great! She went back no problems.
After the surgery she was a different child. She was mean and mad. She tried to pull out her iv and she tried to pull off her heart monitor and her cast. She did not want to lay down, sit down, stand up or be held it was like she just wanted out of her skin. She was so tired but she would NOT go to sleep. *Side Note: Please excuse the way I look I was thriving on about 4 hours sleep and had rubbed all my makeup off and didn't have time that morning to fix my hair.
Pooh Bear came up and saw her little sister and brought her a fox and my brother brought her a turtle. They made her a little happier. By the end of the day she had doughnuts, a cookie bouquet, a box of ring pops, a build a bear cat complete with cast and a pink poodle all brought to her from friends and family!
Daddy Bear, Pooh Bear, Paw Paw, Mimi, my brother and I put her in the wagon and rode her around the hospital. That seemed to make her a little happier but she was still a pistol ball. After they left we settled in for a long night of crying and tossing and turning.
We are at home now and she is better but still a little ill. Hopefully she will be a lot better after a good nights sleep in her own bed. The really bad thing is I have to keep her off all playgrounds for the next 2 to 4 weeks until the pins are out. How do you do that with a 2 1/2 year old?
