So if you have read my blog you know that I use sewing as my therapy. This time is no different. If you look at the picture below Sugar Bear has this big white padded neck brace she has to wear for the next 4 weeks. Well yesterday she fought me all day about wearing it so during her nap I made her a new one. I put padding in it but it is a lot thinner and I used ribbon for the strap and I cut the metal clasp of the white one we got from the hospital. She is wearing this new one much better. I think I might try and make one more. Because this one could be adjusted a little and I think I can do a better job on the next one. Saturday, April 25, 2009

ya know....you could probably market these to the pedi ortho clinic when you go back for your check up! :)
Your so creative! I know that you made her feel like a princess even though she had to wear that cast. I'm so glad she's ok. Definately a great idea to sell thouse slings! Thanks for the post about your sewing machine - do you know which model it is? Walmart sells the Brother SE350 embroidery machine that has pretty good reviews and is pretty inexpensive.
