Story TIme

We had a lot of fun at story time.
We learned all about insects.

Here she is hunting for bugs

My newest creation!

I love the bubble skirt that Pooh Bear had on the other day at the egg hunt.
So I decide to try and make one.
I like the one I made I just feel like maybe it is a little to bubbly.
Notice I put buttons on the flip flops.

I even made her a barrette.
I like the barrette but I think I am going to have to put some no slip on it.
I will be very surprised if it stays in all day.

Just a random thought.  If Pooh Bear is at school and Sugar Bear is still asleep, why am I still watching cartoons?

Just another day

I got Sugar Bear ready for school the other day and
after she was ready she asked me to take a picture of her.

This was her "pose"

Then I asked her how old she was and this is what I got.

Easter Day

First we went to church and then to see the family.

We saw Daddy Bear's family first.
They both got cute little bunnies from Papa and Nana

Here is a picture of Papa and the Grandkids.

After eating lunch we went outside for an egg hunt.

Sugar Bear needed a little help.
  1.                                                                           So did Pooh Bear!
After Nana and Papa's we went to my Aunt Claudia's house for more food and more hunting eggs.

I didn't get a picture of their easter baskets from Paw Paw and Mimi.
But the girls were so excited because they got a TON of candy and movies.
Pooh Bear got Alice in Wonderland and Sugar Bear got Snow White.
They can't wait to watch them.

Easter Baskets

This is the face she gave me when she found PANTIES in her Easter basket.

How about that rats nest on the side of Pooh Bear's head?
I could have brushed her hair before taking her picture.

Lots of great stuff!

Easter Dresses

I hope everyone had a great day and remembers the true meaning of Easter!
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.

Easter Pajamas

Easter Eggs!

After the softball game we went to a Easter Egg hunt in the neighborhood.

We ran into a friend.

I went with Pooh Bear to her section to watch her find eggs.

And Daddy Bear went with Sugar Bear.
By the time I got to Sugar Bear she had a basket full of eggs.
Daddy Bear told me she would pick up the egg shake
it to see if it had candy and if it didn't she threw it back on the ground.
She got the nick name Sugar Bear for a good reason.

After the egg hunt they decorated cookies

Then after that they had an egg race.

This is the prize she won.

Then it was Sugar Bear's turn.
She tried several times and kept dropping the egg.
So after about her 5th try she tucked the egg up against her chest and ran.
She got to the finish line first but when she got
there all the parents fussed at her for cheating and she started crying.
I felt so bad for her.

I explained to her that she could not hold the egg just the spoon.
Then I told her to just go get a prize.

After the egg hunt we came home and dyed eyes

I told Sugar Bear to look at me and smile big, this is what I got.

Here is Pooh Bear with her favorite egg (the one I made)
and her tray of eggs

Red Sox vs. Dodgers

Pooh Bear had her second game and boy it was a doozy.
It started out Great!  We were playing like champs!
All the girls were hitting and fielding and we were whooping up on the other team.
And that is when it all started.
The other team started complaining b/c we had 12 players and they had 9.
So our Coach was a nice guy and said no problem and let them bat 3 (of their best) girls two times.
Well, even after that we were still beating them so the parents got even more cranky.
So next thing I know the umpire tells us to stop counting our runs b/c we had 3 outs.
What?  We have ALWAYS counted all the runs no matter how many outs.
So silly stuff like that went on the whole game, like I said silly.
(We are 6 and under people not the major leagues)
But thankfully the girls didn't know what was going on and they were still having a great time.
When it was all said and done we won!
(But that doesn't matter right?)

Here is a cute picture of her and Daddy Bear.  She ran like she had rockets on her shoes.

Wow!  Look at that serious face.
While she was playing third a ball was hit to her and she ran to get it and it hit her in the chin.
But she shook it off and made the play.  That's my girl!
Later on I told her how proud I was that she did not cry or get upset.
She just looked at me and said I didn't even think about crying.

Pooh Bear's biggest fan!
I tried to get her to wear blue jeans to the game but would not have any part of it.
She told me she did not look pretty in blue jeans.

At the end of the game my Brother took her to get a blue icee, yummy.
And of course you know Paw Paw and Mimi took Sugar Bear to get one during the game.
I just forgot to take a picture.
