3 Billy Goats Gruff

Sugar Bear went on her very first field trip this past week. She went to see 3 Billy Goats Gruff. Pooh Bear went the same day with her school but at a different time. I went with Sugar Bear because it was her first field trip and I went with Pooh Bear on her first field trip. I was really glad I did.

Here she is with her class and her teacher waiting to go in.

My girls are getting so used to the camera. They don't think a thing about me having it and taking 400 hundred pictures everywhere we go. They just look at me and smile (most of the time).

Here is the cute little stage they performed on.

She started at the beginning of the play sitting with a friend.

But once this guy came out she was in my lap and we moved back a few rows. This is why I was so glad I went. She was physically shaking she was so scared of him. Every time there was a loud noise she would just about jump out of her skin. She told her sister how scared she was of the grinch. She thought he was a grinch b/c he took the stuff from the other actors. I had to explain to her that he was a troll. She did not care what he was she just knew she did not like him. And of course BIG sis told her she thought he was funny and she was not scared at all.

Here she is....

I am happy with the way it turned out. But next time I will dry her hair a little more before I roll it. When I rolled it it was wet and it should have been damp. Also, I will pull the rollers down a little further so that the ends will be curled a little more. Hopefully Pooh Bear will let me roll her hair too. She does not like rolling her hair like Sugar Bear does.

Trying something new...

These are called CurlFormers and I got them at Sally's.
I only used about 10 rollers in her hair.
The rollers are sold 8 to a pack and if I would have
planned a little better I think I could have gotten
away with just using the 8. The pack of rollers was $10.99 and the
little hook you use with is was $3.99.
I bought the long and narrow but they have all different sizes.

Story Time with Mrs. Eve

Sugar Bear is waiting in line to draw a belly button on the elephant.

Her belly button is that little line up on the elephants right ear.
I think maybe I need to talk to her about what a belly button is and where it is located.
Although I really thought she knew.

Her craft was an elephant puppet.

Sugar Bear's School Party

As room mom of Sugar Bear's class I got the joy of planning her Christmas Party. So the kids started with Reindeer food with the Teacher. After the reindeer food one of the moms read a book about reindeers.

Then we made reindeer ornaments

After that they ate nuggets, cheese puffs and fruit. Of course they washed it down with a jucie box and with a curly straw. As you can tell Sugar Bear was very excited.

After they ate there food they got what else?...... COOKIES!!

The kids had a great time and we are officially out for 14 days.

Curly Q

The girls wanted me to roll their hair again for Thanksgiving. Well...I guess I should be honest and say that Sugar Bear wanted me to roll her hair and Pooh Bear did it because her sister did. I decided to try it a little different this time and I used smaller rollers on Sugar Bear's hair and boy oh boy did it curl. At first she did not like it but as the day went on she liked all the attention.

Fairy Princess Party

October 24, 2009

Sugar Bear got to go to one of the cutest Fairy- Princess parties the other day.
All the girls were all dressed up in costumes and they danced around the room.
Each one got a head piece and wand.

This was the center piece. It was a tutu around a hurricane glass. I thought it was a fantastic idea and so cute.

All the girls got to get up and say something. Sugar Bear stood up and said My name is -------, I'm 3 and I am Belle. Hmmmm...I thought she was a fairy but what do I know.

I loved this little picture. She looks like a little pink angel.

Here she is with one of the birthday girls.

Orange Parade

Every year Sugar Bear's preschool does an Orange Parade.
This was my 5th one, because our family has been at the school since 2005.

I always enjoy getting to see all of the girls friends all dressed up.

And the kids think they are rock stars walking around the parking lot.
Sugar Bear had a great time but if you will notice she is holding the teachers hand.
I guess she just needed a little reassurance that all the paparazzi parents were friendly.

Her Teacher

Here is a picture of her class.
I tell you what it is impossible to get 12 kids to look at you and smile.
