Party Activities...

So what does a girl do at the spa?
Well I know what an adult does but I wasn't to sure what to do for the girls.
But this is what I came up with!!

I printed up the days events on some of the paper I picked up at the stationary sale a couple of weeks ago.   I found more ways to use all that paper and I was so proud of myself.

When the girls first got their I had them put their headbands on and get their hair out of their face. Then they opened the plastic bag pulled out the wash rag and we wet it.  Then we put a cucumber mask on their face with cucumbers on their eyes.  Next, we had them take their nail polish off and put lip gloss on.

We made some really cute flip flops.  I cut strips of fabric and put them in plastic paint cans.

I found these flip flops on sale for $1 at Walmart.  Pooh Bear picked out the color, because remember I said turquoise is her new favorite color.  I tried my best to try and talk her into pink but at the end of the day I was glad she insisted on this color.

Instead of make-up I decided to do face painting. So I did a few trial runs on the girls.
When the girls came to me they could choose from any of these pictures.

They sat in this cute little pink chair while I painted their faces.  But as you can see I think Comet thought this was his special seat for the party.

I also did a nail painting station.  They got to choose their color and a nail art.  I found the Pure Ice nail polish at Walmart for $2 a bottle.  I got a bunch of fun colors like purple, green and blue and of course sparkles! We also sprayed their arms with glitter spray! The pig timer was so they knew when their nails were dry.

And I can't believe it but I forgot to take a picture of the pedicure station.  I borrowed my moms foot soaker and they sat in our pink club chairs and got their toes painted.  It really was a ton of fun.

Here was the stuff in their take home bucket.  It was a sponge (walmart 2 for $1)  and soap rose petal (Michael's 3 for $1) and 2 oz pink bar of soap I found on Etsy.  The lip gloss came in a bucket of 12 for $3 again from Walmart.  The little pink bubbles came 36 to a pack for cheap from Michael's.  The nail files came in a pack of 16 from Sally's.  I found the comb and mirror set with ponytails holders attached at Party City for $1.  I made the barrettes, I got the blue clips and cupcakes off Etsy's and the rhinestones came in a pack from the craft store.  I just glued the charms on with epoxy and put them on a card I again got from the stationary sale. The bucket itself came from Party City and it was a $1.  Again I used more of my paper and ribbon to put their name on the bucket.  They also got to take home the wash rag, mirror, lip gloss and headband they used during the party.
