Sugar Bear's Halloween Party

The Kindergardeners have a Halloween Party and parade every year and this year was Sugar Bear's turn.
She got to make monster hands and eat popcorn

and make a sicker pumpkin and eat popcorn and cookies.  I read all the kids a Halloween Book.

After the party it was time to get dressed for the parade.

Here she is with one of the little boys she likes in her class.

Here is the whole class.

They walk all around the school through all the halls and outside.

Here is her teacher riding her Harley in her Witch costume.  She leads the parade outside with her bike.

After the parade several of  the classes mixed together and took a quick picture.

Pooh Bear's Class Party

I took the day off work and went to the girls school to help with their class parties.  First it was Pooh Bear's party.

Our class was snacks.... the kids rotated around all the class and each one did something different.
Cheese cubes with a creepy hand.

And rice crispy treat siders.  I was up almost all night making them.  I was almost in tears thinking about how many I had to make, 140 total.  I "glued" each leg on with melted chocolate.  So eight legs per spider and 140 spider.... I'll let you do the math.  But at the end of the day it was my idea and I promised to do it and I always follow through on my promises.

Swap Juice.  Or sprinkles in the bottom with gummy worms and ginger ale.

Our plates had the spiders, cheese with hand, grapes on a Halloween skewer, a mummy toe and gummy eye balls.

Pooh Bear I think was having a great time! She made her cute mask in one of the other classes.

She was checking out all my hard work.

Here she is with her fun teacher.

The decorations were pretty cool too.  Susan and I went up to the school on Friday and hung lights and ghost and spider webs.  The ghost are the ones the kids made with me when I was mystery reader.

At the end of the day kids turned off all the lights and watched a movie.  All in all I think everything went great!  I know Pooh Bear had a great time!

Pumpkin Carving 2011

The girls always really love craving pumpkins.  This year was no different.

How about Sugar Bear's face?

Sugar Bear chose and craved a cute little ghost

and Pooh Bear choose a bat sitting on a pumpkin.

I thought their pumpkins turned out really cute.
