More Pretty Hair

Red Sox vs. Angels

This was a really great game.
Pooh Bear fielded the ball well and she got some really good hits.
We won again (but were not keeping track).

And of course Sugar Bear was happy!
This time she talked one of the other sweet moms from the team into an icee.
Of course I had no idea she was talking another mom into an icee.
That girl knows how to get what she wants. =)

A ball was hit to Pooh Bear while she was playing second.
She scooped it up and made the out at home.
The head coach from the other team even gave her a low 5 for that one.

Here she is walking to the plate with Daddy Bear.
He was giving her a pep talk which consisted of if you
hit the ball all 3 times I will take you to get ice cream.
This was the first week that they HAD to hit off the coach, no tee.

It worked she hit the ball all 3 times!

The second time she hit it she got a Double!
That deserved a pat on the head from Coach.

I thought this was a neat picture.
I like how it blurred the fence and focused on the girls.

Thanks Mimi for taking a family picture!
Boy I tell you what we need a little sun. =)

Daddy Bear made good on his promise!

That is one well deserved ice cream!

Trying something new...

I found this hair style on another blog and thought I would try it.
Her daughters hair was much neater but I thought Sugar Bears turned out cute.
I did Pooh Bears too but she got out the door before I could take a picture.

Mystery Reader

I was Mystery Reader at Pooh Bear's school this week.
I was not sure what to read to the class.
But I decided that I wanted to incorporate a "treat" into my visit.
So I chose this book!

Did you guess what the "treat" was?  Yep.... Jelly Beans!
Here is the whole class with their jelly beans.

And here is the whole class and Sugar Bear!
She loved being there and being a part of the "Big Kids"
She was a very good girl.

And here is my cutie.

Story TIme

Story time this week was AWESOME.
We had so much fun with the cowboy theme.

Here is a picture of the cute set they built, AWESOME.

Spending time with great friends, AWESOME.

Galloping like a horse, AWESOME.

They have come a Long Way...

These two girls have come a long way since the beginning of the year.
They met during Softball last spring and have continued to become great friends.
We LOVE having this sweet girl carpool with us.
I hope their/our families friendship continues to grow because I really like her Mama! = )

August 2009 - First Day of School

Side Note:  I think I am having a harder time dealing with Kylie finishing Kindergarten then I did with her starting Kindergarten.  Go Figure?

Sugar Bear's Art Show

Here is all her beautiful art work that she has made through the year.

Sunday School PJ Day

We had PJ and popcorn day at Church this past Sunday.
This idea started b/c Pooh Bear did not want to get dressed for church one Sunday.
She asked why she couldn't wear her night gown because it "looked" like a dress.
And that was all she wrote!
I asked the Children's Minister and she said great idea.

We watched a Veggie Tales Movie and ate a ton of popcorn.

Red Sox vs. Marlins

We started out today with pictures!

Go Red Sox!
I have to say we have one cute team!

I made Sugar Bear a special shirt for picture day.
It was 51 steps and took an hour and a half
but it is cute!

Nana and Papa came to watch Pooh Bear play and .......

to make sure Sugar Bear was happy too!

Between Paw Paw, Mimi, my brother, Papa and Nana Sugar Bear is sure to have
some kind of goody in her hand.  No wonder she loves the ball park so much!

Pooh Bear hit great today she hit off the pitcher all 3 times.
I was so proud of her.

Daddy Bear caught the ball behind home plate
all day and he can barely walk tonight.  He has started a series of shots in his
back to help build up the disc.  He is trying to avoid a 2 back surgery.
Hopefully after the next (3rd) round of shots he will start to feel better.

She made a great play today.
She stopped the ball in the outfield and ran home as fast as she could to tag the runner.
She ALMOST beat her there.
Coach Brett, her Daddy and I have been trying to get her to run faster.
I think maybe she getting the message.

Dance Pictures....

I picked up the girls dance pictures the other day.
Here is a picture of the pictures.
The color is off a little and it is a little
distorted but you still get the idea.

This costume is for Party in the USA
Half the girls are blue and the other half are red

This costume is for Hello Dolly
